Biography
Riley joined the Indiana Business Research Center in July 2018 as a part-time assistant economic researcher and became a full-time research data analyst soon after. His research interests include education and workforce development, childcare costs and policy, and regional economic analysis. At the IBRC, Riley analyzes and curates workforce and economic data for Indiana, contributes to the center's labor market information websites and publications, and translates complex data into accessible insights for policymakers and practitioners across Indiana.
Prior to joining IBRC, Riley worked at the City of Bloomington Department of Planning and Transportation on environmental planning and sustainability programs.
Riley holds a Master of Public Affairs from the Indiana University O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in English, also from Indiana University.
