Dr. Jerry Conover has led the Indiana Business Research Center at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business since 2003. He’s played key roles in regional, state and national economic development initiatives for more than 30 years, bringing university research expertise to bear in advancing regional economies. Jerry guides the talented IBRC team responsible for projects ranging from creating innovative tools and analysis in support of economic development planning throughout the nation, to enlightening career pathways for workers in different industries and the gaps between supply and demand for such workers.

Jerry earned doctoral degrees in Psychology and in Business Administration at the University of Missouri, and his bachelor’s degree at the University of Michigan. Prior to coming to IU, he conducted business research at the University of Arizona and Northern Arizona University, where he was also professor of marketing and director of the MBA Program.
